The ocean is the heart of our planet, connecting people across the Earth, no matter where we live. In order to ensure the health and safety of our future generations, it’s imperative that we take the responsibility to care for the ocean as it cares for
us. World Oceans Day, on 8 June each year, is a global day of ocean celebration. This year the theme is ‘Our Oceans, Our Future’, encouraging solutions to plastic pollution and preventing marine litter for a healthier ocean and a better future.
